BP-MP
The hydrogen generator BPMP is specifically designed use for the inflation of the balloons in the upper air stations in meteorology.
Simple and reliable, it can operate whatever the climatic and environmental conditions.
It is able to supports high fluctuations as well as sudden interruptions of the power supply.
In case of prolonged mains failure, the generator will stay in stand-by and then will restart automatically without any assistance.
It is also equipped of a water treatment system with a sufficient DI water reserve for producing hydrogen during one week in case of lack of the water supply.

The Hydrogen Generator type BP (low pressure)
Founded in 1965, this kind of hydrogen generator used gas holder at 35mb pressure as hydrogen storage. The hydrogen gas was drawn off directly from the gas holder outlet and its volume was calculated depending of the needs.
The Hydrogen Generator type BP-MP (low pressure – medium pressure)
Considering of the increasing number of sounding, the « BP » technology was not offering any more possibility seeing the storage volume limited by the gas holder. Therefore, it has been decided to add a compressor in order to increase the hydrogen gas storage volume capacity.
This new technology used since 1979 has allowed to reduce significantly the size of the equipments and offers a large range of hydrogen generators.Since 1994, all the hydrogen generators series « BP MP » are skid mounted ; the control system is fully electronic and the cooling is through natural air.
